Iris – Playground for new ideas is a solid SME specialized in the development of cutting-edge technological systems. For our client Iris, Officina38 produced a video animation with the objective of displaying, through illustrations by Francesca Tabasso, the GREEN PLASMA SAFE project.
GREEN PLASMA SAFE was born through a project framework at European level which saw IRIS at the frontline alongside some of the most important research institutes. The solution, based on the thermochemical conversion, benefits from thermal plasma technology. It allows small-scale treatment of non-recoverable and special waste.
Additionally, it is currently under study an application that will allow the recovery of plastic wastage from ocean using boats, treating the marine litter on board without having to bring it back on shore. This will improve waste management in terms of time and costs.
